Spectacle Summer Nights featuring Night Shift Brewing & ZaZ Restaurant

Boston Harbor Now is excited for the return of our sold out series, Spectacle Summer Nights!

Spectacle Island will stay open for an after-hours experience – an evening of relaxation, fun, and music in partnership with Night Shift Brewing and ZaZ Restaurant.

Sit on the porch and enjoy live music, set up a picnic, grab a beer from Night Shift and a wrap from Zaz, hike the trails, or relax with a view!

Your ticket includes:

• Round trip ferry ride from Boston to Spectacle Island
• Live music
• Lawn games
• Breathtaking sunset views of Boston
• Snacks on the beach with L.L. Bean
• Food for purchase from ZaZ Restaurant.
• Drinks for purchase from Night Shift Brewing
• After-hours access!

Directions: Guests must arrive at Long Wharf North *by 4:00pm* to board the ferry to Spectacle Island. It will depart promptly at 4:30pm and will not wait for late arrivals. No refunds.

The return ferry will depart Spectacle Island at 8:00 pm, with an 8:30 pm scheduled return to Boston. *Please note that the Harbor can be busy in the evening which can cause unforeseen delays.*

• Walk-ups ticket purchases are accepted for private boaters.
• Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited, and any alcohol purchased on-island must be kept within the marked perimeter.
• No pets allowed

Performance Schedule:

July 8 – Rob Flax and his Book Chick Trio

Rob Flax is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator from Evanston, IL with a playful heart and an open mind. He has performed nationally and internationally with groups of many different styles, including opening for B.B. King and Tower of Power, playing viola and violin with the Trans Siberian Orchestra and YouTube star Jacob Collier, upright bass in an Argentine tango ensemble, mandolin and fiddle in various bluegrass bands, electric violin in several rock bands, collaborations with modern dancers, and more. As a composer Rob has written music for choreographers, film (including work on the soundtrack of As I Lay Dying), and several original projects. Rob is a graduate of the New England Conservatory, and he currently lives in Boston, MA.

August 12 – periwinkle

periwinkle is a dynamic band that performs all over the Boston area playing original music and covers. periwinkle is a group of performing/recording singer-songwriters that live by the motto “self expression.” Through the creative minds of Kirsten Alicia and her talented band, they look to shake up the norms of the entertainment industry. periwinkle produces neo soul/jazz influenced music with thought-provoking lyrics and killer production/beats that are easy for anyone to connect to. Along with classic favorites from Stevie Wonder, Adele, and so much more.
